Wiped Film Evaporator (WFE) or Thin Film Evaporator is used for evaporation of heat sensitive, fouling, or vicious liquids and slurries. These evaporators swiftly separate more volatile components from less volatile components through mechanical agitation and indirect heat transfer under controlled conditions.
